Tobacco Control in South Australia


In South Australia the sale, distribution, use of tobacco and areas where smoking is prohibited is regulated by the Tobacco Products Regulation Act 1997. 


This website provides information for the hospitality industry, tobacco retailers, the general public and others on the tobacco laws in South Australia. 


For information and support to quit smoking, phone the Quitline on 13 7848 or visit the Quit SA website at www.quitsa.org.au. Information and support is also available through GPs, pharmacists and health professionals.
